mog.com [beyond web 2.0 review]

Cool technology, Great website! Instead of a ‘blog’ , how about a ‘Mog?

Share your song lists, your favorite MP3’s, your thoughts on songs and the music industry and interact with moggers with similar interests. Customize your own page with colors and images, receive comments from visitors and listen to music on the page itself….

Search and read the latest ‘Music News‘ , ‘Concert Reviews‘ and listen to the latest MP3’s posted on mog.com.

Download the ‘Mog-O-Matic’ to enhance your viewing by only showing posts by ‘moggers’ who match your tastes with music, video or posts, something the Jeela.com team went crazy over…

Wridea.com [Beyond web 2.0 review]

The team at Jeela.com liked the concept of Wridea but had some reservations as to how (or if) people will actually use it. The UI is slick and very ‘Web 2.0′ complete with rounder corners and drag and drop.

I create a few ideas and added some notes but then it was unclear what I was suppose to do with them. I feel this may be similar in nature to 37 Signals ‘Ta Da List‘ application but lacking the clarity.

Don’t take this as all bad, this site has a lot of potential and with the right target could take off, the technology is impressive and the ‘Collaborative Brainstorming Sessions’ really intrigue me.

talkr.com [beyond web 2.0 review]

We recently came across talkr.com and found it to be a very cool technology, something new and innovative. Imagine being able to hear a blog via a podcast on your IPod or better yet your iPhone (if you have 1). The technology behind it creates an MP3 of your blog posting that you can subscribe to. We plan to set it up soon on jeela.com so stay tuned and get some space carved out for us…

Look for the Audio icon and link on your favorite blog, my bet is you will see a lot more of them.

viddler.com [web 2.0 review]

The next web 2.0 review at jeela.com is the video tagging site Viddler.com. Viddler is a cool application that let’s you tag or comment on moments in a video instead of commenting on the whole thing. The site is slick and easy to use and it’s been getting a lot of attention in the the last month. Signing up was a breeze and the search worked quite well….

Their video viewing tool is very well done and the ‘timed tags’ feature is nicely implemented. Good job Viddler!
